HoYeon

The success of Squid Game's first Netflix show, Hoyeon, a South Korean model and actress was a hit with the world. Her breakout performance in the series Hoyeon received the Screen Actors Guild award for the best performance by a female Actor in a Drama Series and earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series. Hoyeon is from Myeonmok-dong (a suburb in Seoul) she began her journey as an independent model at Seoul Fashion Week 2011. She took part in the fourth season of Korea's Next Top Model and placed in the top tier. It was in 2016, that she received her first international recognition after she signed an exclusive global contract in partnership with Louis Vuitton. She's appeared in many campaigns since then , and has modelled for many designers, including Fendi as well as Marc Jacobs.
