Jamie Colby

Colby, National News Anchor and Correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July 2003. Prior to joining FOX News Channel, Colby was a correspondent for CNN and also served as anchor and reporter for CBS News which included anchor fill-in to CBS's Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby has a law degree from the University of California and is licensed to practice in New York, California Florida and the District of Columbia. In 2002, she won the Edward R.Murrow National Award for reporting on the 9/11 attacks. Also, she won the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000 and she was awarded the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News-Show Stars to Follow". Colby had a background as an attorney, who in addition to her career as a journalist, worked for 10 years as a private practitioner. She began her law career by working with a Hollywood entertainment business that sent her to The Tonight Show. When she was 22, Colby began her career as a reporter as well as host for Johnny Carson, both during the contract renewal of NBC along with him and during his divorce. Colby hosts and reporter for Strange Inheritance on Fox Business, covering quirky or surprising legacy left behind by friends or family members. Jamie Jamie Jamie
