Leah Leah Leah Linda LindaLinda Blair was a child actor and model prior to when she took on the role of Regan as Regan in The Exorcist. She had been chosen out of 600 candidates. Linda Blair quickly rose to prominence and even won her first Golden Globe. She was likely to win the Academy Award. But when it was revealed that some of her parts were not done by Linda (the evil voices were dubbed and 8 seconds were filmed by one of the stuntmen) the dream began to fall apart. Through the years Linda was not a problem securing the lead roles in a range of film, which included the wildly successful television series Born Innocent However, when she was pushed by her peers into purchasing cocaine before age 18, the incident led to her arrest and subsequent sentencing to three years probation. Linda's work within Hollywood was severely impacted due to the bust of drugs, which was made widely known. She now only appears occasionally on TV as well as B-movies.
