In the show, the items stored in storage lockers which rent has not been paid for a period of three months are put up for auction. Brandi and Jarrod of the Now and Then Thrift Store in Orange California took part in this show hoping to get affordable storage units. The couple had no idea that the show could make reality stars out of them! Over the course of the series, the couple proved to be extremely shrewd bidders, and eventually emerged as the main characters of the show. The couple's triumph on reality TV that boosted businesses. Apart from running the shop they owned the couple also opened another one. They also were the main characters of a spin-off show titled 'Brandi and Jarrod: Married to the Job.'
