Michele Carey, the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr who was a physician along with Thelma Henson, the homewife, was born Michele Lee Henson on February 26th, 1942in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. As a teen, she excelled at playing the piano. When she was just 13 she won an international contest in the Chicago Music Festival. Fort Collins High School, which was where she completed her high school education in 1960 it was where her family relocated to. In order to improve her career prospects, she moved into Los Angeles.
