Melissa Suzanne McBride, born on May 23, 1965, is an American actor, and an ex-casting director. McBride is most well-known as Carol Peletier in the AMC show The Walking Dead. McBride won numerous nominations and awards for the role she played in The Walking Dead on AMC. McBride came from Lexington Kentucky, where her parents John Leslie McBride and Suzanne Lillian were born. Her father was the owner of his own business and her mother attended the famous Pasadena Playhouse. John Michael Neil Allen, Melanie Suzanne, and Melanie Suzanne are her three brothers. McBride first appeared on TV during 1991 on various commercials, including Rooms To Go. McBride was also a Ford spokesperson. In a 1993 ABC show called the legal drama Matlock she made her debut as a regular on the show. Then she guest-starred in a variety of drama TV programs, such as In the Heat of the Night American Gothic Profiler Walker Texas Ranger and Dawson's Creek.
